The European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) is not a Visa. It is a screening system for travelers from countries, like the US and Canada, who have enjoyed the freedom of Visa-Free travel to Europe.
The date required to ETIAS has recently been moved to the 4th quarter of 2026, so if you are traveling to any of the participating countries requiring ETIAS in 2025, this is not a concern for you.
