Just returning home from Secrets Cap Cana in the Dominican Republic! This is a beautiful resort with a wonderful beach area! Plenty of space around pool and easy to find chairs. This is an adults only resort and very relaxing!

Impressions by Secrets Isla Mujeres was our next stop! We got to stay in an ocean front room with hot tub and it was absolutely amazing! This resort is small with 180 rooms total and a very relaxed vibe.

Our travels this time brought us to the beautiful Secrets Moxche in Playa Del Carmen for a gorgeous destination wedding! Mother Nature sent some rain which caused the plan to change from outdoors to indoors, but the wedding team did an amazing job! The wedding was beyond beautiful with all bridesmaids and groomsmen in white and the bride and groom in black!

We just got home from an amazing trip to Cape Coral, Florida. I often don’t stay at short term rentals, as you never know what you’ll get BUT this was an exceptional experience! We stayed at Cape Escape and it exceeded all expectations! Super clean and comfortable, our kids are already asking to go back!!

Dreams Las Mareas Costa Rica - this was a resort our whole family loved! The kids were obsessed with the monkeys (so was I)!!
For this hotel you fly into the Liberia airport and then it is about a 2 hour drive north to this beautiful hotel. If you are looking for relaxation, you’ve found it! If you are looking for something close to lots of action and things to do… there are other hotels that are a better fit! This resort is in a more remote area so prepare to just hang out at the hotel, thankfully it’s beautiful and the food and drinks are amazing!!

Playa mujeres is a beautiful location not far from the Cancun airport! Like Riviera Maya you get to escape the business of Cancun but still have the convience of this easy to get to airport!
In Playa Mujeres we have stayed at Villa Del Palmar twice! This is a beautiful hotel with great food! It is nice you have the option to be all inclusive but it is not required! The in ocean water park is fun for both kids and adults!

More awesome news from Delta!!! They now will be flying into Tulum, Mexico!
Tulum is such a beautiful area and before it was a long drive from the Cancun airport which deterred some visitors but this new flight will make getting there a breeze! More and more beautiful resorts have been popping up in the Tulum area! Plenty of options to fit your needs for a dream vacation!

Spring break destinations continue with Cabo!
Cabo is another east Mexico destinations with direct flights for MSP! It has beautiful sand beaches and is so relaxing to walk the beach and hear the waves crash onto the shores.
Most Cabo hotels have awesome pools and hot tubs as the ocean is not swimable here due to strong currents and depending the time of year, it can be a little chilly in the early mornings and evenings so a hot tub is great for warming up!
Downtown Cabo is filled with awesome restaurant, shopping and a variety of night clubs and entertainment!

Grand Velas, Riveria Maya is an amazing choice if you are looking for an upscale hotel! Top notch food, plenty of restaurant choices, top shelf drinks and I asked for a drink with watermelon and they went and got a watermelon to make some fun drinks for me! The customer service here was AMAZING!
For this hotel you fly into the Cancun airport and it is about a 40 minute drive. The resort has rooms near the beach, as you can see the water here is beautiful and they work so hard to keep all the seaweed cleaned up! There are also rooms in the “zen” area which has more of a jungle feel! We spotted some fun wildlife in this area.

One of our favorite areas in Mexico is Isla Mujeres! You fly into the Cancun airport and it is a quick ferry ride to blue waters. The North beach area has the most beautiful beach, that’s where this picture was taken! Rent a golf cart and enjoy your day exploring.

Delta just announced this week they will start offering non stop flights from MSP to Turks & Caicos!! These flights will operate on Saturdays starting in January and running through April!!
Sun Country also provides direct flights to this amazing location!

Spring break will be here before we know it!!
My fav beach - Grace Bay Beach in Turks and Caicos! The white sand beach meets the most beautiful crystal clear blue water and it’s just a DREAM!
What’s your fav vacay spot?!
Pro tip!!! When visiting make sure you stay on Grace bay or within easy walking distance! Also, location on Grace bay is key! If you enjoy walks, pick somewhere in the middle so you can explore in each direction! The Sands at Grace Bay is an example of centrally located hotel so everything is an easy walk!

🏝️All Inclusives are not made equally! Each resort will have such a variance in food, both options and quality.
When choosing an all inclusive you are usually about to find how many resturants there are, menus and reviews to get a feel for food quality ahead of time.
These pictures are all at Secrets Moxche which was some of the best food I’ve ever had! Everything was so fresh and delicious.

Hi! Welcome to my travel page! I didn’t know where to start so thought I’ll share my most recent vacay, a trip to the BEAUTIFUL Secrets Moxche in Playa Del Carmen with my soon to be sister in law!
This is an adults only hotel and the resort is stunning! This was day 1 right when we arrived over looking the resort from the preferred club restaurant 🥰
