Good Morning Golden Bears! Applications for the 2023 Winter London Program will be available sometime between June and July! Closer to time, a more exact date will be posted, so make sure to check this page periodically for that information! Happy NYE everybody! KU in London has spent the past few days visiting the U.S Embassy, the HMS Belfast ship, the National Gallery, doing tech tours of the city, and exploring King Henry VIII’s castle at Hampton Court Palace. 🇬🇧

Our first full day in London was a success! Started the day with a classic English breakfast 🍳🫖 then took the tube to St. Paul’s Cathedral. After visiting the cathedral and climbing the 528 steps to the top we spent the rest of the afternoon exploring the Tower of London! 🌉

From Dr. Mace:

Dr. Best recently announced that she is leaving KU to pursue an opportunity for her family. Therefore she won’t be able to teach in London this winter. Dr. Jackson has graciously agreed to teach in her place. This is sad news to lose Dr. Best, but great news that we gain Dr. Jackson. The application review process has begun and we are still accepting applications. Please visit the Google page for the program for that application. Lastly, the US State Department just moved the UK to Level 4 in light of their increasing Covid-19 spread. The KU London program will not proceed in Level 4. And is more likely under Level 2&3 warnings.
