New year, new gear!

Freshman Jack Maida wins it with a second-period pin and has made the top six at the EIWA Championships at 133 pounds! He’ll next wrestle Army’s Richard Treanor for the opportunity to advance to the 3rd-place match.

This escape into a takedown for Jack Maida vs. Maryland’s King Sandoval. 🔥🔥🔥 He’d been trailing 3-1 and held on for the 4-3 victory. In the words of @jaymgrimes, “that was filthy.”
