37 years ago today, I ventured to Central America in support of the United Nicaraguan Opposition in it's fight against the Marxist Regime of Daniel Ortega.

Here we are 37 years later, and I am now old and slow.. and he is still the unforgiving Dictator of that country. But then again, he is old and slow too.. What do think... Even odds in a cage fight? lol

A blast from the past- my father Jerry Major in (Jennis Bay, BC) returning from Hope Town First Nations Village on Christmas Day.

He played Santa for the kid's there for a good number of years prior to his passing in 1983.

You all will be blessed with learning much more about this incredible man in our upcoming film production Following Footprints- The Return to Drury.

Random Broughton history, long before the area was referred to as the 'Broughtons'! This is Jerry Major, a fascinating character whom we met in 1979 in Jennis Bay. Pierre accompanied Jerry while he was 'mining for gold' and took this photo. Yes, you read it correctly - gold. Jerry DID find gold. Upon his discovery right there in this spot, Pierre immediately offered to become Jerry's personal pilot, although he had no flying licence. Gold fever is real people.
