Where am I off to? I boarded the Windstar, Star Legend ship a few days ago for Winter in the Med! Why would you go to the Mediterranean in the winter? There are no crowds, weather although unpredictable has been in the high 50s very comfortable for traveling, and I missed a snowstorm back home. Most of you know I’ve traveled with Windstar before, I love the smaller size ships. This ship is 300 passengers when full, we are a little under that on this trip. We were a day late, leaving Venice because of heavy fog. The port closed, as with any cruise, ocean or river we have to be prepared to make adjustments with mother nature. We are now back on track having spent two days in Dubrovnik. A few pictures of the beautiful ship, and sailing out of Venice that can only be done on smaller ships like Windstar Ships. At check in we were greeted by a drinks table & a sign for their upcoming James Beard foundation cruises, starring one of my favorite chefs she will be on board a Windstar Baltic cruise this year! If you’re a foodie these are a great opportunity for learning & enjoying all things food. You can also catch Jennifer her restaurant in Arkansas. Travel-Lyn LLC
