Creating Messages That Matter
When gathering materials for a potential client that showcase how Open Lines helps #TellYourStory, I came across a video that I wrote, produced and voiced for Midlands Technical College. I love people and I hope it shows through my work. Friendships formed with the people behind the stories like Miss Annie, kindle a heart of compassion and empathy to tell the story as it is meant to be - meaningful and from the lens of the person at its center. From social media, to commerical video, to presentations and media relations Open Lines creates Messages That Matter.

This #Valentines Week:
Real Love: How One Graduate's Love for Midlands Technical College Goes Beyond the Classroom.
It's been a really busy, but a really fun week at Open Lines. As we focus on #love stories this week- I want to thank every client who has given Open Lines a chance to #TellYourStory ! #Blessed
You are the joy of our work. The way we partner to tell unique stories is through genuine interest and time spent getting to know the people behind the stories. This partnership and forming of friendships kindles a heart of compassion and empathy to tell the story as it is meant to be - meaningful and from the lens of the person at its center.
There are no coincidences. When the Columbia College SC Leadership Institute contacted Central South Carolina Habitat for Humanity & ReStore because they wanted to give back to our community, little did they know they they would wind up helping a fellow Koala. The young leaders were enlisted to put the finishing touches of paint on Liz's house after her home dedication. Liz graduated from Columbia College and had a blast getting to know the young alumni who helped make her house a home. Thanks for letting Open Lines #TellYourStory.

Annie Dillard
She's lived through a number of historic moments in our country including the Great Depression, the Civil Rights movement and the moon landing - now 92 year old Annie Dillard is about to make history herself.
When she walks across the stage tonight and gets her diploma, Annie Dillard will set a @Midlands Technical College record- becoming the oldest graduate.
I had a blast putting this story together! #producer

Pump up the volume to hear an uplifting little ditty! Had a lot of fun putting this video together for Central South Carolina Habitat for Humanity & ReStore! Love getting the chance to work with my favorite collaborator Banks Meador.
One of the things I love about my job is whether I'm producing a video, or writing newsletters, or constructing a social media post for the organizations I serve- I have the opportunity to meet so many folks who are doing a lot of good in our community. People like Renee with the University of South Carolina School of Law Pro Bono program...
You budgeted for video on your latest project, but you are only using a small portion of what was shot. Think about turning some of the video that was left on the cutting room floor into quick social media pops. #ThursdayThought
