We get to witness two people profess their love, surrounded by adoring family and friends. We enjoy the challenge of capturing every moment, the small and major combined. We were certainly a puddle as we spent the afternon with these two and witnessed their spectacular bond.

We’ve had the pleasure of capturing this family’s love for each other multiple times over the years and it is something special to come back and see just how much little Jasper has grown and changed.

One thing that hasn’t changed is just how sweet and loving this little boy is to his mama! 🥰

It’s been a minute (okay over a year) since we’ve shared anything on here! The arrival of of our little man, who is coming up on one year, has filled our lives with such joy! It has been amazing watching the bond between him and his big sister grow and strengthen over the last year!

So many of you on here rock balancing posting on socials, family time and work time and we applaud you for that! We definitely let posting slide as we focused on figuring out the whole raising a baby and a 5 year old! BUT! We’re attempting to come back to share our love of weddings and families with you again! And we’re saying it publicly to try and hold ourselves accountable! 😂🤞In the meantime, if any of you lovelies have any sage advice on how you do it all, let’s hear it!

Is it too early to start dreaming of the cherry blossoms? Would you believe it was 32 degrees when we took these last year? You would never know it from their warm happy smiles but it was freezing out! 🌸 Claire and Jay had originally planned a cherry blossom engagement for spring 2020 but we don’t have to tell you how that turned out. Then a year later we were nervously watching the forecast as it called for a freeze that would possibly cut the flowering short. We were so happy that it all worked out, we had a beautiful sunny day and they were able to get the cherry blossom photos they had hoped for!

Jessica and Joe chose to end their engagement session at Oronoco Bay Park in Old Town Alexandria for a very sweet and significant reason… it’s where they were married a few months earlier!

Like a lot of couples these last few years, they chose to have a small ceremony with just them and plan on having their big celebration this summer!

We couldn’t think of a better place to end our fantastic day with them and look forward to celebrating them more in June!

We hope for at least one amazing destination wedding a year and Jessica and Drew’s Las Cruces, NM wedding was all that and more! They don’t call it the Land of Enchantment for nothing! Their wedding was so perfect! Amazing friends and family, a gorgeous setting and a fantastically colorful fiesta theme made this wedding one for the books! We love that we get to travel for weddings! While most of our travel happens up and down the east coast at least once a year we find ourselves getting to go off on an epic adventure! Nothing can top being invited to come to Scotland to photo a wedding the day after Christmas! Getting to spend the holidays with another of our favorite families! It was a dream come true and an experience we will treasure forever!

People always ask what our craziest wedding story is. Top of the list will forever be Liz and Harry’s! Getting stuck in an elevator with the entire bridal party on the way to the ceremony is definitely memorable. But honestly what makes this wedding stand out to us is that we gained new friends in Liz and Harry as well as many others in their fantastic group of friends! 🥰
