Managing Tigh Mor – and more… ✨

Six years on from starting his role at HPB Tigh Mor Trossachs, Site Manager Simon (pictured in the middle, below) is still in love with our Scottish home – “I have to pinch myself sometimes just to make sure this isn’t all a dream,” he says – but as of July last year he’s added a second string to his bow, becoming Property Manager responsible for operations at the HPB Coo Palace, HPB Lucker Hall, HPB Braithwaite (and the HPB Ivy House Hotel) and HPB Witch's Pool.

“Being a Property Manager isn’t being a boss,” Simon avers. “It’s more about working with the individual Site Managers, being able to provide an overview when they’re embroiled in the day-to-day – zooming out if you like – providing support where necessary, and acting as a conduit between them and Head Office.

“It’s testing sometimes, but interesting,” he says. “Other sites face different challenges from those I get ‘at home’, but those experiences – some of them anyway – feed into my own site management at HPB Tigh Mor Trossachs. And I really enjoy working with the other Site Managers. “We’re a team.”
