🧀 Today I did a Cheese Tour in Woerden! Did you know that while Gouda is famous for its cheese, it's actually Woerden and Bodegraven where the cheese is made? Gouda was the first city in the Netherlands to receive city rights allowing cheese trade in the market. Fun fact: Dutch people consume an average of 17 kg of cheese per year, and it can even help prevent cavities! 😄 Join us for a delicious adventure in cheese-making and discover the rich history and flavors of our local cheese!

The Netherlands is the country of water. Abour one third of the Netherlands lies below sea level, with the lowest point being 22 feet (6.7 meters) below sea level. Meanwhile, the highest point is about a thousand feet above sea level. That gives you an idea of what the landscape of the Netherlands looks like. It’s almost completely flat and engineers know how to keep the water away. I like the many ponds and boats to cross the river.
