It’s been 8 years since the last time we visited California with the kids. We had an amazing and active Spring Break on Balboa Island located in Newport Beach, California. We booked a vacation home on the water, parked the truck, and rode bikes the entire time. We also took the ferry across the island and rode bikes to dinner. It was so nice! We really enjoyed hanging with the kids. Definitely one of the awesome places we look forward to visiting again.

For fall break this year, we packed up the car and took a road trip to Branson, Missouri - a 5 hour drive from Memphis! The beautiful fall scenery made the ride more peaceful.
Branson has definitely expanded their variety of entertainment since our last visit about 8 years ago. This city is full of entertainment and fun for the entire family. You can experience all the fun of a theme park, without visiting one. We enjoyed every moment of it!
