Kalapatthar is one of my favorite places! It's a mountain at 5,600 meters high where you can see Mount Everest really close up. This picture is from the morning, just before the sun comes up.

If you want to take amazing photos with the mountains, I suggest wearing red or yellow clothes. These colors look really good with the mountains.

If you ask me for the best sunrise view in the Himalayas, I would recommend Pikey Peak. From there, you can witness a panoramic vista spanning from the eastern to western mountain ranges, including Dhaulagiri to Annapurna.

Mount Everest, the highest peak on Earth, stands majestically in the Himalayas, straddling the border between Nepal and China. Rising to an awe-inspiring height of 29,032 feet (8,848 meters) above sea level, Everest captivates adventurers and mountaineers from around the globe.

Named after Sir George Everest, the British surveyor-general of India, the mountain is known locally as Sagarmatha in Nepal and Chomolungma in Tibet. Its summit pierces the boundary between Earth and the heavens, offering an unparalleled challenge to those who dare to ascend its icy slopes.

First conquered by Sir Edmund Hillary of New Zealand and Tenzing Norgay, a Sherpa of Nepal, in 1953, Everest has since become the ultimate test of human endurance and determination. Despite the risks posed by extreme weather, altitude sickness, and treacherous terrain, thousands aspire to reach its summit every year.

We just finished a super cool 23-day hike in the Himalayas! We explored both the lower and upper everset regions, starting at Pikey Peak and reaching all the way to Everest Base Camp, Kala Patthar, Cho La Pass, Gokyo Lake, Gokyo Ri, and finally Renjo La Pass. Talk about a challenge!

The weather was incredible the entire trip, even today when we flew back from Lukla to Kathmandu - a bit bumpy, but safe! We feel super lucky to have had sunshine on our side for such a long adventure. I snapped over 2,000 pictures and some of them are already looks out amazing like this one!
