We spent a fantastic week with two great friends and photographers and !! From southern to San Pedro Araucaria forest, we managed to find some of the few lifers left on their lists! Bird pics: Green-chinned Euphonia and Long-tufted Sreech-owl

Una semana excelente con dos grandes amigos y fotógrafos, desde el sur de Misiones hasta el bosque de Araucaria de San Pedro. Costó, pero encontramos algunos de los pocos lifers que les quedaban en la zona!!

One of the "Big five" when you are birding at the Atlantic Forest, the Large-tailed Antshrike. This elusive species can be found in forest patches with dense bamboo understory, but in certain lucky occasions, you can watch them plain in the open. This picture is from our southern misiones tour

Uno de los 5 grandes del bosque Atlántico, el Batará pintado (Mackenziaena leachii). Habita parches de bosque con tacuaras densas, lo que lo hace difícil de observar, pero a veces se muestra así, bien expuesto.

Last week we had some incredible birding days with a fantastic group of people, including the great naturalist ! He shared all his knowledge with us from southern Misiones to Iguazú. We saw.some good birds and mammals like the Planalto Tapaculo and a really close up view of a Red Brocket Deer. Here are some group pictures!

Last Saturday we enjoyed a fantastic ! Our team Iguazú Birdwatching recorded 199 species, at southern Misiones and the fabulous . How was yours?
