An incredible day we had! Difficult to do better… this morning after a change of plan we landed at Orne Harbor where our guests were rewarded at the top with amazing views and a few Chinstrap penguins.
Later on we made our way to Paradise Bay and we were fortunate enough to witness a large groupe of orcas with their young on a hunt. The calm, weather and beauty of the place decided for us to improvise an evening small boat cruising.
And finally the day finishing, the sky exploded with a wonderful sunset!!!

Few days ago we started a new voyage departing from Valparaiso. With the weather on our side we arrived early morning in Castro where we all enjoyed the views on the outside deck before going ashore for our excursions.

We're currently sailing off the coast of Nova Scotia, wrapping up our final arctic voyages of the season that took us from Reykjavik to Cambridge Bay, before reversing southbound with another group of guests and finally into Newfoundland & Labrador. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring and interpreting the natural wonders and history of Canada's Northwest Passage & West Greenland, and we're very thankful to all of the guests that joined us on board for our incredible arctic season!

Soon we'll be disembarking guests and crew in Portland, Maine, and continuing our journey with our "Pole to Pole" guests to prepare for our "Treasures of the Pacific Coast" expedition. Stay tuned for more updates from your MS Fram crew, and feel free to share these memories with family and friends!😀

MS Fram sailed from the southernmost to the northernmost point of South America. On the way from Antarctica we sailed from the dreaded Cape Horn to the northernmost point of the continent Punta Gallinas in Colombia. When I realized the importance of the moment, I decided to celebrate it with you a little and I prepared a video with the animals we met on the way. Let me know how you like them? And don't worry, I'll share the photo report from the cruise here soon.

MS Fram has left Antarctica some time ago. Our last cruise of the season took us below the Antarctic Circle, where we explored the beautiful Antarctic peninsula.

In the second part of the three-week long cruise, we sailed in stunning Patagonia and explored its fjords.

We've recently completed our first Antarctic voyage of the season, and it was one for the books! Early season on the white continent came with with icy winds, heavy snow & otherworldly beauty. Guests and crew alike were awestruck, and excited to see our favourite cast of characters arriving in full force, as they prepare for austral summer at the bottom of the world.

We've now welcomed a new group of guests and we're enjoying the comparatively balmy weather of the Falkland Islands. Next stop: South Georgia Island. Stay tuned for more expedition updates. As always, feel free so share this post!

CHILE! Departing Valparaiso ten days ago, we enjoyed the incredible diversity of Southern Chile. From the historic port of Castro, we then explored remote Puerto Eden and sailed onwards through breathtaking tree lined fjords. We then spent a few days in Puerto Natales & offered trips to the world famous Torres del Paine National Park, where good weather allowed for incredible views of the park's most famous massifs. Putting the incredible Patagonia behind us, we’re now on the Drake Passage. Next stop Antarctica!

If you’re currently traveling with us, we'd love it if you describe your favourite moment of the trip so far in the comments.

As always, feel free to share this post with family and friends!

Another voyage with Fram has come to an end. We sailed through the impressive Panama Canal 15 days ago and have now reached our final destination, Valparaíso in Chile. On our way south, we made stops in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Chile, visiting local communities and cities where we delved into the rich history of these countries. The wildlife encounters have been breathtaking. We have witnessed hundreds of whales, dolphins, and many bird species. Perhaps the most awe-inspiring moment was when we were surrounded by several blue whales and humpbacks. For many of our guests and crew, this was their first encounter with the largest animal that has ever lived on Earth. Photos: Kim Rørmark

Once again, MS Fram is en route to Canada after spending four days in Greenland. As always, Greenland was breathtaking. We had the opportunity to explore the capital, Nuuk, the charming town of Sisimiut, and, of course, the picturesque icefjord town of Ilulissat. Nuuk and Sisimiut boast fantastic museums where both passengers and crew can immerse themselves in Greenland's rich history. One of the highlights of our visit to Ilulissat was the icefjord cruise. We sailed among the massive icebergs that had broken off from the Jakobshavn glacier. Some of us were fortunate enough to witness Humpback whales feeding in front of the icebergs. On our final day in Greenland, under a clear blue sky, we had the privilege of visiting the beautiful Kvanefjord, which offered a breathtaking view of the nearby glacier. Photos: Kim Rørmark
