Happy 139th Birthday to the inventor of the Original New Orleans style Hot Tamale 1923....The owner of the first ALL Mexican cuisine restaurant in New Orleans "El Ranchito" 1946...The husband of our namesake, Rosa "Mamita" Guzman Hernandez.....and the man I was named after...My Grandfather Bernardo Villafuerte Hernandez.
