LSA's Interpreter Relations Division spent the afternoon on Friday 9/15/17 at a team-building exercise. This year's event - BUBBLE SOCCER! The Vendor Procurement, Credentialing, and Quality Assurance teams got to face-off against each other in several exciting games, all while running around in giant inflatable bubbles. The was a highly successful team-building event and a lot of fun!

On Thursday September 7th LSA attended the Delaware Valley Translators Association picnic held at the Appleford Estate in Villanova, PA. In attendance were Christine Wood, Veronica Baez, and Julia Peoples from our Vendor Procurement Department and Crystal Sidibeh from our Face-to-Face Department. LSA was able to meet many of our local interpreters and translators at this event. A special thank you to the DVTA and Tony Guerra for a wonderful evening.

Yesterday marked the commencement of the summer season, and LSA is pleased to welcome new clients that may bring opportunities for telephonic interpretation in healthcare. What a great way to welcome summer! We want to encourage all linguists to continue pursuing training and / or continued education in the interpreting field. Remember, the projected growth in the field of interpretation / translation is expected to reach 46% by the year 2022. This means, opportunities will be available for those that are better prepared. Here's to a great summer ahead!

We had a wonderful time at LSA's Interpreter Meet & Greet held at The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce on Friday, May 12, 2017! The event was a success, and having the opportunity to network and exchange feedback with a group of Philadelphia-based interpreters was priceless.
The passion and commitment to the interpreting profession was evident in every encounter and exchange we had, and a reminder that what we do matters. We help people communicate!
