I’ve loved planning vacations for my family and friends for as long as I can remember. After many trips with my family, as well as the suggestion and encouragement from my husband, I realized just how much I enjoy planning vacations and decided to be a part of helping others!

🏢 Well, an early morning reared its head again today, but I'll be honest, I was grateful in the end because a giant influx of cruise guests ended up in town as the day went on!

🎨 Some of the familiar attractions in Punda & Otrobanda are the Curaçao, Dushi and Chichi sculptures, the locks on the Punda Love Hearts (newly substituted is this cage because the sculpture fell in February due to the weight of the locks), the colorful steps and the iconic colored buildings.

🌉 And probably one of the most well known is the pontoon bridge (Queen Emma Bridge) which I got to see opened for a larger ship to go through, closed to walk over AND opened just a bit while I was on it for a smaller boat to pass!

I ended all my sightseeing with a little pastry and coffee beverage. This was a great excursion and way to round out my time in Curaçao.

🛖 Remember all the way back to yesterday when I said mornings aren't for me? If you're anything like me, then this is for you...

⏰️ Around 11:45 this morning, I casually walked into the Club Lounge (feeling like a rockstar with my Club Level perks) and asked if by chance, there was a private ½ day cabana rental available for today, because once again I have amazing travel agent friends with super suggestions. And sure enough.

👑 So for only $75, I had 4 hours in my very own cabana with a stocked cooler, butler service that not only got me lunch, but kept my piña coladas coming faster than I could ask and relaxed like a boss!

💬 One of my awesome coworkers (who has been here before) messaged me earlier today with some suggestions, and I told her I didn't know what to do with myself between being up early and having absolutely no agenda!

📖 So I had some coffee and read on my patio, hung out in the quiet pool and walked around part of the resort and took in some of the sights.

🧠 This has definitely been such a great mental break - I think everyone should experience something like this!

However, when you are spending thousands of dollars to travel, the extra for travel protection is there in the hopes that you DO NOT need to use it, but that you have it IF it becomes necessary.
