Aspire kicked off their inaugural Professional Development session this past week with Cheryl Chartier with Articulus. Most of our emerging industry leaders met, collaborated, and participated in a workshop discussing The Essentials of Transformative Communication within Business.

Ineke is a seasoned professional with global experience in the engineering and construction industry. She has proven herself as a leader with a diverse business and technical background, consistently delivering outstanding results. Her core strengths lie in business development, strategic planning, and team leadership.
Ineke's professional journey has been marked by a commitment to the wider industry. She has served as an active member of the Rice Global Forum Board of Directors since 2021. Her engagement with The Association for The Capital Projects, Engineering & Construction Community includes roles such as Future Leader Liaison to the Board and Future Leader Engagement Committee Co-Lead. Ineke has been recognized by the Houston Business Journal with the Women to Watch Award in 2020 and has consistently demonstrated her commitment to allyship.

Prior to founding Eventsia Group, Tara worked as a management consultant supporting organizational transformations, system and process implementations, strategy and change management in energy, retail, non-profits/associations and the public sector.
Tara also founded and serves as the CEO of Telsan Holdings, a commercial real estate venture focused on coworking facilities to provide flexible, shared office space to small businesses, freelancers and entrepreneurs.
Tara currently serves on the City of Katy Convention and Tourism Board and Downtown Advisory Committee, Rice Global Forum Executive Steering Board and the West Houston Capital Campaign for Amazing Place. She is a past President of the Katy ISD Education Foundation, board member of the Maria New Children’s Hormone Foundation and is an active member of the Rotary Club.

As Chief Strategy Officer of RICHARD, Dean serves the needs of the entire Engineering and Construction Organization.
Before being named CSO in October 2022, Dean was EVP & GM of the Houston Operation, including responsibility for the Kolkata Operation. Dean was responsible for establishing each operation and securing and successfully executing all projects in those offices while ensuring sound multi-office and EPC ex*****on on larger EP and EPC projects which utilized resources across the organization.
Prior to joining RICHARD in August 2012, Dean was EVP & COO of Foster Wheeler USA, responsible for sales support, project ex*****on, customer satisfaction and Company P&L performance expectations. This included world-wide Process Licensing Contracts in Delayed Coking, Solvent DeAsphalting, Visbreaking and Hydrogen, and EPC/EPCm ex*****on where FWUSA had contract responsibility which included North America, South America, India, and the Philippines.

Scott currently serves as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development with Turner Industries Group, LLC where he is responsible for the Corporate Business strategy across all divisions for the areas of Business Development – Sales, Marketing, and Community Relations & Public Affairs.
Scott has spent over 30 years developing business opportunities in Domestic and International markets, joining Turner Industries in 2016 to focus on the Industrial Market, services sector. Prior to his tenure at Turner Industries, Scott held various senior operational positions. Scott worked for Marathon Petroleum Company, KBR and Stress Engineering leading Oil, Gas & Chemicals (OG&C) sector investments through Professional Services/Engineering & Construction (EPC) projects and Operational-Maintenance/TAR programs.

Over the years, Edmund has held leadership roles where he managed up to $1.2b in revenue with more than 7,000 global staff in 10 countries. After joining Alliance Engineering in 1995, Edmund established the Onshore business line while he held the COO position there. He was CEO of Alliance when Mustang Engineering and Alliance Engineering merged in 2010.
Edmund’s career started in the Royal Norwegian Air Force, and he spent his early years working inside international oil and gas companies with Norway as his home base. Eventually, he took an assignment in Houston and settled in the city permanently.
His background includes leading corporate, business unit and project management departments as well as business development, strategy, and mergers & acquisitions.

As Global Director of Government Outreach, Don is responsible for establishing relationships with government entities to further support LyondellBasell’s sustainability and energy transition goals. Previously, Don served as head of global capital procurement which included responsibility for EPC strategy development, ex*****on, and administration as well as strategy and delivery management for materials procurement supporting LyondellBasell’s major capital organic growth strategy.

A native of Houston, Jim graduated in 1989 from Texas A&M University with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and later completed his MBA from Rice University in 2004. After graduating from Texas A&M, he joined Brown & Root as a Design Engineer in Houston, TX. He has held numerous technical and leadership positions across the industry.
Jim currently serves as a Senior Project Ex*****on Advisor in Chevron's Captial Project team located in Houston, TX. In this position, he's responsible for ensuring that the Capital Projects operating model is being implemented globally and advising projects on their ex*****on strategies and readiness to deliver. He is seconded to a Joint Venture partner to lead a project management team in the delivery of a portfolio of RNG projects across the US.

Bob has a proven ability to lead mega global projects and corporate functions by building high-performing teams that deliver results. He is adept at aligning organizational strategies, implementing leading supply chain solutions, and building internal support to achieve results.
Bob successfully leads contracting strategy, negotiation, and risk mitigation teams for multi-billion-dollar commitments, and he is responsible for effective, risk-mitigating contracts and rigorous contract administration programs.
