Don't want to be in the hustle and bustle of Benidorm and want a taste of a typical Spanish little town? Go to the beach of Villajoyosa, one of the nicest, sandy beaches near Altea. While you're there, have a stroll in the little centre with coloured houses 😎🍧🍹🌞

Want to be a bit more active during your holiday? And be rewarded with incredible views?

Walk to the lighthouse (faro) of L'Albir. It's only a 15 min drive from our apartment. The path is not steep and will take you to the top within 30-40 minutes. You won't regret it 😎

PS bring water and go to the toilet at the entrance since there isn't one at the top 😉

How about a nice day trip? Within half an hour from Altea you can reach Guadelest, a village of a thousand years old, situated around a castell. It has a spectacular view on a natural reservoir.

Yesterday we had lunch at Cafe Opera, great restaurant. We ended the day with the big parade of the Moors. What a beautiful place Altea is. Come and check it out!

Slight change of plans..... the three art pieces of "funny bulls" that we originally wanted to hang above our sofa, would become really expensive in the sizes we needed.

So why not put our bull of Amersfoort (the inspiration for our logo) on the wall? It's in the making process now and we can't wait to take it to Altea 😎
