“I don’t know if I would like a cruise, I think I’ll be sick the whole time.”
“I want to see my destination, not just sail by it.”
“Will I get bored on the ship?”
“Is a balcony cabin room really worth it?”
⬆️⬆️ This was me. 🙋♀️I was very skeptical about how I would do on a cruise before we sailed in Alaska. Here is what I found…
1. The Alaskan waters are some of the calmest ocean waters you’ll find because they are protected by the inside passage. I always get sick deep sea fishing, but on our cruise I didn’t feel nauseous at all - even though I brought every medication I could possibly use to help with sea sickness, I was happy I didn’t need it.
2. We did so many land excursions and it was awesome to get to see the glaciers and remote destinations in Alaska. Icy Strait Point was our favorite stop, and you can’t get to it by car, so without the cruise ship, we never would have got to stop there!
3. I promise you will not get bored on the ship. There is constant entertainment, food and drinks that you can’t fit everything in and the ships are incredible!
4. My favorite part about our cruise was waking up and having morning coffee on our balcony and breathing in the crisp Alaskan air. The views right from our room were amazing and we literally saw hundreds of whales migrating at sea!
So are you ready to sail Alaska? I have 2 balcony cabins left for my August 8, 2025 sail date at a guaranteed price for you! And if those dates don’t work, I’m happy to find the perfect sailing for you 🚢

Happy Labor Day to all of you hard working Americans out there - and a special shout out to our farmers and ranchers who don’t necessarily have a holiday off ever built into their “office hours” unless it rains of course 😉
We spent our Labor Day back in my hometown and at our family ranch, checking cows, camping and disconnecting from our busy everyday lives.
I hope you all had a great weekend and took time to recharge and connect with your families ❤️

Which guy are you when you go to an all-inclusive resort?!
This is your friendly reminder to remember to pack sunscreen! 😂☀️
Did you know as your travel agent I’ll provide you with a list of packing essentials and key information to know about your destination? I can’t force you to put on the sunscreen though, my husband is proof of that 🤣

In honor of National Plan for Vacation Day I’m looking back at my all time favorite experience while traveling on my honeymoon to Mexico… releasing baby sea turtles into the ocean!
We were just walking back to our room after supper at @eldoradoresorts and on the beach we noticed the Wildlife Preservation team digging up the hatching sea turtles on the beach! They were kind enough to show us what they were doing and why and even let us hand pick a little turtle to release off into the ocean. This was an experience that we couldn’t plan to do or pay for and it was something I’ll never forget 🥹🐢
Did you know that sea turtles find their way to the ocean because of the light of the moon? El Dorado Casitas Resort purposely keeps their lights low at night so that it doesn’t distract from the baby turtles from finding their way to the ocean! They also have a hatchery and find the eggs after a mother sea turtle comes up to the shore and lays them (we even got to see that happen one night!) and then they put the eggs in the enclosure on the beach so that they are protected from predators until they are ready to hatch 💚
So where are you thinking about traveling to next and what experience do you want to have?! Here at @alltravelmatters we are focused on designing travel experiences that matter!
