The individual service begins immediately when we start by visiting your home where we discuss your specific plans and vision. At the drafting table in our offices, we research plants and draw a design especially for you. The second visit is a time for you to view the plan. We show you pictures of the plants and discuss your comments and concerns. Upon fina
l approval, we discuss the phasing of the landscape to suit your budget. Most clients choose to phase their projects over one to several years and we work with you to maximize effect for the available budget. Some clients choose to implement part of the design themselves. In which case, we are typically hired to consult them through that process. Plant placement and planting techniques are some of the services offered to those clients. Maintenance
Gardens of Grace is specially trained to provide you with expert bed maintenance so that you can ensure that your landscape continue to thrive. All staff have been trained on the job and in the classroom regarding best practices for proper plant pruning and maintenance. All plants cannot be maintained the same. Proper maintenance requires a knowledge of bloom time and growth pattern for each type of plant. All maintenance clients have a custom landscape plan to best suit their needs and tastes. However, visit the monthly tips page to obtain a general idea for our maintenance plans. Most clients prefer a monthly visit. Some are best serviced twice a month or 4 times a year depending upon the size of the landscape and the level of participation by the client. Special Events
Gardens of Grace can make you patio, yard and porch looks its best for special occasions or events. Weddings, showers and graduation parties are enhanced by special attention to the porch/entry way and patio or deck. We can update your landscape with pots and specialized plantings so that your garden will continue to look good even after the event has occurred. Your plantings are planned with a special consideration to style and value.
