Great Food at the Flying Otter (actually) right on the inner Harbour beside the airport! Adequate pay parking, and consistently the best fish and chips in greater Victoria! Linda and I shared a two-piece halibut with an additional Caesar salad. Most great restaurants in Victoria serve Kennebec fries! Somehow they are the best here! Our meal was more than ample with two good-sized pieces of halibut. There was no shiny grease on the fish (a sign of overusing the deep-fry cooking oil! Great table service! Outstanding view and spectacular sunsets! I am a "fish and chips (fries) guy! The Flying Otter is worth a visit!

The Ross Bay Villa Historic House Museum is offering guided tours until August 18th! 💐
The museum is a volunteer-led heritage site and restoration project in Fairfield. Visitors can walk down a path shaded with heritage apple trees and a period garden to step into one of the few 1860s houses still standing in Victoria. 🥀🌳
The Gothic Revival-style house was built in 1865 for Victoria businessman Francis Roscoe and his wife, Anna Letitia Roscoe. At that time, the property was located far away from the bustling streets of an upstart gold rush town. Ross Bay Villa

Another Serene place!

Fall is an extraordinary time to re-visit Victoria's landmarks, now transformed under a glowing hue. Pictured here is the parade of red, russet, and golden maples blanketing the Japanese Garden at The Butchart Gardens, gradually sprinkling the ground with nature's confetti.

It is hot with 7 weeks of sunshine! Taylor Beach is a great place to go. Picture 2 shows a swimmer in the water! Cool, eh!
