The first time I saw Illuminations: Reflections of Earth the skies opened up and poured unlike anything I’d ever seen before. It seemed fitting that rain started to fall as soon as last night’s show started. Last night was likely the last time we’ll ever have the pleasure of watching Illuminations. The show has meant more to me than any other theme park entity. Seeing it for the first time many years ago brought the realization that art and hope can come in many forms. Much will be written (by me and others) about Illuminations as we near the show’s finale at the end of September but last night was bittersweet as we watched the show and did our post-show loop around World Showcase, listening to the music. All of the memories of watching the show flooded back to me and I won’t soon forget them. I put the camera and phone away last night and just enjoyed the show, save for this short video right after it ended. #illuminations #illuminationsreflectionsofearth #epcot #wdw
