At the foot of Mt. Etna in Sicily there is a small corner of land where pistacchio trees found their perfect environment to grow at their best. A place hard to get to, definitely not on your own, where our local host welcomes in his family’s estate and unravel the fascinating stories behind this challenging production.

Then we sit in his courtyard and savor savory and sweet pistacchio recipes.

Lucca is an elegant small-size city, perfect to live in. The architecture, the walk on the city walls, the independently owned shops with historic wooden frames, the music…. and definitely a foodie town.

What’s New in 2026?
📍Our Grand Tour of Tuscany in 2026 will stay two nights in the heart of Lucca (instead of Viareggio) and we will enjoy a new cooking class in town.

📍Our Western Sicily & Siracusa Tour will be reverse starting in Palermo and ending in the charming island of Ortigia (attached by bridges to Siracusa), instead of Taormina. A new winery in Alcamo, two nights at the luxurious Doric Boutique Hotel in Agrigento, and a day trip to Noto!
