Apparently, it's National Plan a Solo Vacation Day! Lol, there's a day for everything, I guess.😄

I want to use this national day of recognition of solo travel to let you all know that I am in the process of setting up a private Facebook group community dedicated to travel tips, resources, and small group trips planned and (some) hosted by me for the active and adventurous traveler! It will NOT be exclusively for the solo traveler but if...

🙋‍♀️Like me, you are a middle-aged, uncoupled, empty nester,

🙋‍♀️If you are someone who struggles to find travel partners or you just have a more adventurous spirit than your partner,

🙋‍♀️You want to experience solo travel while also having a chance at connection when desired,

🙋‍♀️You are a thrill seeker and physically active and want to experience this type of travel in destinations all over the world,

🙋‍♀️You want to experience cultural, epicurean(food & wine), or expedition experiences on river and ocean cruises,

then this new group will be perfect for you!

You don't have to want all of this, but these are to give an idea of who this new group will be geared toward and what we will be discussing and sharing.😊

*Even though I am shifting my business a little, I will still be capable and happy to plan and book your other vacations. The only types of travel I do not wish to plan are- Disney, Destination Weddings & Honeymoons, as there are plenty of more experienced and enthusiastic advisors out there for those niches.😁

Big changes coming to Southwest in 2025...

✅ Assigned seating (expected to become bookable in 2025)
✅ Premium seating options (expected to become bookable in 2025)
✅ Red-eye flights (now available for booking on https://swa.is/4c1dQdk!)

The research is clear and indicates that more than 80% of Southwest Customers prefer an assigned seat. These changes come as a part of our ongoing commitment to enhance the Customer experience, including faster WiFi, new in-seat power, larger overhead bins, and more comfortable seats.

For now, it's business as usual - we're working hard to meet Customer expectations and expect seating changes to become bookable in 2025.
