Daiquiri Deck, a Sarasota-based restaurant and bar, plans to open a location on Bridge Street in Bradenton Beach. If all goes according to plan, the Daiquiri Deck on Bridge Street will be open in March 2018.

Maybe not so much for the snow birds but for you Bradenton and AMI locals, here are our current Top 5 establishments on the island based on value and food/drink specials:

5.) Gulf Drive Cafe & The Kokonut Hut (location ONLY)
4,) The Ugly Grouper (atmosphere ONLY - no drink specials)
3.) Island Time Bar and Grill (bit pricey but good atmosphere for both sports and music)
2.) Duffy's Tavern (best burgers on AMI, $1 drafts, TV's, great service, friendly)
1.) Wicked Cantina (awesome location, $1-$2 drafts, affordable delicious Mexican cuisine, great service, live music)

This is what Anna Maria Island Beaches look like right now. Not a bad place to live or vacation if you want white sand, clear water, tiki bars, live music and great food.

Had the burger from Harry's Grill and Bistro 9903 Gulf Dr this weekend and it was very good. A bit pricey if you're looking for a $10.00 and under option though. That said, Duffy's Tavern is still the best burger on Anna Maria Island for both quality, specialty and price.
