One of my all-time favourite destinations so far. This photo was taken in Bergen, Norway. We had finished exploring Bergen for the day and we were heading back to our Airbnb to escape the extreme cold weather. I didn't think the sunset was going to be that great but out of nowhere the colours became very vibrant and I got this quick snap. One of Japan's most recognisable symbols, the torii gate, it symbolises the entrance to a sacred Shinto shrine. I always envisioned taking a shot like this as the sun was setting. One year ago today and I flew to Hong Kong, the first stop on our three and half month round the world trip. While we were in Hong Kong we really wanted to get out of the busy city centre and this is where we ended up, Discovery Bay. The view of Los Angeles from the Griffith Observatory is absolutely stunning. When we were there last year we arrived just after sunrise and we were the only ones there. I often struggle to wake up early and while I was too late to get this photo at the sunrise I am still really happy with how it turned out. Waking up early is definitely worth the reward, no matter how hard it is. It has been a while since I updated this page but I am pleased to announce that after many sleepless nights and many cups of coffee, I have created my new photography website.

It has taken me just over a month to get it all up and running the way I wanted it to be and now I think it is ready to share with everyone.

The site was created from scratch using very frustrating html coding and it contains some of my favourite photos from the past three or four years and also my most up to date work. The site has also been designed with my blog integrated into it for ease of navigation.
