It's a classic late-1800s city home, except, of course, for the gigantic three-story swing in the middle of the area. And you can stay here for around ~Rp3,600,000 per night.

The Spring Quartet of Asahi. No, this isn’t a musical quartet, but rather it consists of the snowy peaks of the Northern Alps, pink cherry blossoms, red tulip flowers, and yellow canola flowers.

If you visit between late March to mid-April, you may be able to capture this quartet in one frame, which would make for one hell of an Instagram photo. Even if you don’t, Funagawa is a must-visit.

Wild deer in Nara Park hold a deep historical and cultural significance in Japan. Their presence in the park dates back to the ancient Nara period (710-794 AD), during which Japanese emperors revered them as sacred creatures, bridging the gap between humans and gods.

Today, these wild deer continue to be a prominent attraction at Nara Park. Tourists and locals alike engage in the tradition of feeding them using special crackers available in the park.

KAWS:HOLIDAY continues its world tour, this time making Indonesia its destination, with the Prambanan temples as its exhibition grounds.

During its six-year-long tour, a remarkable first unfolds as KAWS introduces the "ACCOMPLICE," a design that originally materialized as a vinyl figure back in 2002. Stretching an astounding 45 meters, the bunny-inspired "ACCOMPLICE" now takes the spotlight as the artist's most monumental sculpture to date—fitting that it’s exhibited next to Indonesia’s largest Hindu temple.

Positioned in close proximity to the Prambanan temples, the sculpture has proven to be polarizing. Some have labeled it as "borderline tasteless," and local voices express surprise that the KAWS:HOLIDAY exhibition was granted permission to share space with a religious sanctuary.

Regardless, the juxtaposition of this massive contemporary artwork beside a 9th-century Hindu temple generates a truly distinctive and even surreal spectacle. The encounter carries added benefits, such as drawing in a younger demographic that might not otherwise have shown interest in visiting Prambanan and stimulating local spending rather than international travel.
