It's been a week of hearing similar stories – three different clients, three different providers (online platforms, ChatGPT, and a shopping centre based agency chain), and the same underlying frustration. They each felt unheard or even misled entirely, for some, the impersonal nature of online booking bred anxiety (I always say, the internet is for looking, not for booking).
While the digital world offers a wealth of inspiration, and yes, even I've tapped into tools like ChatGPT for initial ideas.. the crucial step of booking deserves a human touch. Having tailored itineraries for my clients for over 30 years, I know the power of truly listening.
