I’m pleased to announce that .lushstowe is becoming Jamie Dragon]]!

You may or may not know that Lush was collateral damage in an arson fire two years ago and I chose not to reopen the salon.

I’ve decided to take a different approach to life and my business. Beginning Jamie Dragon]] has felt more authentic to who I am and it feels right to merge the two businesses into one kickass business that is truly who I am to my core.

You’ll get a mash up of my hair and makeup artistry, life skills, intuitive guidance, outdoors adventures, family life, accountability, learn how to be the best version of YOU and of course have access to my blog where you’ll learn about everything that makes me grounded and glammorous! 😉

It’s hard to believe that March 30 marked a year since the physical loss of my business. Standing in front of a pile of ashes of what I worked so hard to build was the biggest defeat of my life... and I’ve overcome some challenging obstacles.
Over the years I’ve learned to hone in on the power of manifesting the things I want, however, it’s clear to me that when He 🙌🏻 has a plan for us, no amount of manifesting will surpass His grand design. My plan was to grow my salon big enough to then step back and have time for a family... Well clearly that wasn’t His plan! He burned my s**t down and then got me knocked up. 😂 Haha!! I always love a little humor to lighten the mood.
I could’ve accepted defeat and made myself a victim, but instead, I took that as the most glorious opportunity to keep knocking things off my extensive life long “to do” list...

After a week of adjusting and trying to catch some 💤 I’m finally getting around to announcing that Cash Dragon Davis has finally arrived! Monday February 3 at 12:38pm, weighing in at 7lbs 15oz and 20in long. 🤗 Please be patient if you’re awaiting an event inquiry response. Cash and I will be back in the office soon! 😁

Overdue Lush Announcement!! Let’s welcome Rosie May Speer to the Lush family! Born April 16 at 9:33 am, weighing in at 7 lbs 13 oz and 20 inches long. She’s an avid outdoors girl and loves being swaddled and enjoys long snuggles from mom and dad. Help me congratulate .lushstowe and on their new addition!

As some of you may have heard I lost Lush Stowe in a fire Saturday night that not only affected my business but 4 others in the building including Ross Environmental, Denoia’s Dry Cleaning, LeBeau Kitchen and Bath Remodel and Uncle George’s Flower Shop. My heart goes out to these other business owners as well as my landlords. This is such a devastating loss for all of us as the building is a complete loss.
My heart also goes out the Helen Day Art Center as this is not their first devastation and they were scheduled to reopen very soon.
I can ensure you we are all strong and although this event is unfortunate and unfathomable we will all rise above it and come out even stronger. God gives us challenges to make us stronger or quit. I choose strength and will not quit and if any of you know me, well, I never have. And although I just put blood, sweat and a lot of tears into the new Lush this past summer... I will do it again! 💪🏼

I thank everyone in the community, friends and family for their support and kindness and generosity as I keep myself positive and figure out what the next step is. I know I’m not alone and together we will rebuild! I also thank God NO ONE was in the building or hurt during these fires and also thank God THINGS can be replaced.

I also want to personally thank all of our first responders who were involved as they put their lives on the line everyday for us and their families. True hero’s. Stowe, Waterbury, Morrisville, Hyde Park and Elmore Fire Departments as well as Stowe PD, State Police and Lamoille County Sherif

So here’s to ... yet again new beginnings, putting our big girl panties on and rising above. Thank you again everyone for your support!
