Cute, homey. Mixing a bit of relaxation with the magic of exploration.
Day 1 - Today we had a private driver and guide (Cristiano) that picked us up from our hotel in Rome. “Skip the Line” tickets and tours is the only way to see all of the major attractions. Seriously, so much ground was covered that we never could have accomplished without our amazing guides today. We saw the Colosseum, the Circus Maximus, Road of Temple, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, Pantheon, Trevi, Fountain and Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona. In the afternoon we visited the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica with our guide, Silvia. Another fabulous dinner too.
Goodbye Galway - Hello Cliffs of Moher - Stay in Killarney
Each morning we have enjoyed an Irish breakfast to start to the day at the hotel.
Saying goodbye to Galway, we made our way to the awe inspiring and majestic Cliffs of Moher, which rise 700 feet above the Atlantic Ocean.
A spectacular day with great sea (and luckily the sun!) and cliff views, our next stop was quick visit to Adare and then finally, Killarney.
Day 2 was all about Connemara. 💕🏔️
Today we enjoy a scenic tour of Connemara.
Traveling along Galway Bay to Maam Cross and Clifden.
Continued on via Kylemore Abbeyand Gardens 💗.
Next we continued via scenic countryside and kept an eye out for sheep 🐑 en-route to Moycullen and the Celtic Crystal 💎 Factory.
Returned to Galway where we had some free time.
