Going back in time here!
It all started with a rock band at 13 and moved on to opening for Bob Seger at 15. Years later, I wound up in Canada opening for Jim Carrey and Long John Baldry. Then in London, I signed a record contract with Elton John’s Company.
In my career, I have worked alongside greats like BB King, the Indigo Girls, Hootie and the Blowfish, and others.
Now, with Next Level Showcase Productions, I coach vocals, guitar, and keyboard, and mentor students to go down a safe and solid path with their dreams.
My business is run by the Man upstairs. He is first and all else falls into place. I thank Him every day for my life experiences which have brought forth great testimony and enlightenment that I can share with others in need. I love how that all works. There’s no doubt He has pulled me from the fire countless times. I'm truly blessed and I am finishing writing a book on all of these amazing stories in honor of our loyal and faithful Creator.
A little context behind this photo:
I've had the honor of working on some pop pieces at Elton John Studios in London where I was accompanied by Roxy Music. In my career, I've also recorded at Eastern Sound Studios and The Grange Studios in Toronto where I worked with Anne Murray's Band--Pat Riccio and Aiden Mason--and Gerry Markman. Gerry Markman is featured on many of my songs, most notably, the track "We Never Said Goodbye" about my parting ways with Jim Carrey.
In Nashville, John Reese produced my original Country-Alternative Acoustic songs at Welk Studios.
In the early 2000s, I recorded "Mama" for my parents, in addition to several other songs, in my home studio on my acoustic guitar.
The day following 9/11, I wrote "Up from the Rubble" with Gary Thomas. The track features my vocals, Gary playing the piano, Eddy Caglione playing the guitar, and Cindra Marshall on the French horn/oboe.
My husband, Mike Cook, has been so vital to my career as well with him having engineered and produced many of my works.

In honor of the 20th year anniversary of one of the most tragic events in all of history, this is a song that I wrote right after 9/11.
When I wrote this song days after this heartless act, the words and music just came to me... I remember watching on TV and I saw angels hovering over the destruction... I remember saying to God, " Surely you must have these people" and he assured me "I had them in my arms in the midst of the chaos." God Bless all who lived through this or lost someone dear to them.
