Sunday vibes! What are you cooking up today? One of life’s great pleasures, which is amplified in France, is the time taken, respect given and enjoyment from . In the we are spoilt for choice. 1. The first picture- not just any old greengage jam but greengages picked from our orchard and being made into “our own” jam to be eaten with a crisp baguette made that morning with a load of delicious salty butter. 2. grown just 90 mins away and being eaten on the terrace with the most incredible views. 3. Wild plums- just hanging out in a scrappy hedgerow in our garden BUT they make the most exquisite jam ( looks like a plum- tastes like cherry!) 4. Apricot tart - you can pretend you made it but just pick it up, freshly baked, from the , 5. Finally cheese - just a sample of the oodles of choice and giving rise to the “ French lunch”. And, we have only just touched the surface.
