Metalair Golf Society Metalair Golf Society was formed in 1996, by Steve Boor, David Spendla and fellow workers at Metalair Ltd, a road tanker manufacturer in Sutton Bridge, Lincs.

It was initially open only to employees of the company, but has since been extended to friends, and future members can join by invitation only.

Metalair Golf Society has been on tour again this September and with 3 days golf played there is still (mathematically) 8 players in with a chance of returning home with the coveted winners trophy. Richard Crane and Dave Chapman are in pole position, strongly placed at the head of the chasing pack but could be caught by Aaron Fitch, Henry Smith, Garry Fitch, Shaun Doughty, David Spendla or Ian Bunn. One more gloriously sunny day to go here at St Pierre, Chepstow, this tour will take a lot of beating in terms of weather, hospitality and quality of the courses. Thanks St Pierre for a great 4 days.
