⚠️The Alaska Department of Fish and Game, Division of Sport Fish released 2 new Emergency Orders (EO) and corresponding Advisory Announcements (AA) impacting fisheries in Southcentral Alaska for 2024.

Summary of NEW emergency orders:

1. Increase the limit for sockeye salmon on the Kasilof River to 6 per day, 12 in possession.
2. Expand the area open to dipnetting from shore and a boat on the Kasilof River Dipnet Fishery.
