We are now back from our fantastic family holiday and thought it was time to plan for Christmas 🎄
With just over 4 weeks to go until Christmas day and 6 weeks until 3 Kings day, the next few weeks are filled with sparkle and festive cheer.
Tonight Murcia switch on their Christmas lights, said to be the biggest, brightest and boldest since before Covid, with 7 million LED's lighting up the city.
The giant Christmas tree 🎄 is also back this year in the Plaza Circular where there are also markets, events, and concerts.
Fancy a night out to this fabulous city to enjoy some festive cheer?
We hope to run some tours over the festive period. You can book a private tour for up to 8 people, and we will tailor it to your needs, or jump on one of our shared tours with pick ups from Mar Menor area and golf resorts.
You can have drinks in the fabulous Odiseo before heading into the centre of Murcia for 3 hours of free time to visit the markets & lights. Min 6 people required.

The difference a day makes.
Yesterday was a holiday in Santiago de la Ribera and I'm not sure I've ever seen it so busy. Every bar and restaurant was bursting at the seams all day and night and as well as the air display, there was a procession, fireworks (short but very sweet) and a concert. What a fabulous day it was. in contrast, today was very quiet, but we secretly like it like that. Had a lovely lunch in MarAzul

🐢 Caretta Caretta Turtles, known locally as Boba turtles live in the Mediterranean Sea and in July & early August, females come onto beaches with the intention of laying their eggs.
They are a protected species and if you come across one, or what could be a nest (nido) please follow these instructions
1. call 112 and advise of location
2. Do not touch it or get too close
3. Do not make a noise
4. Do not use flash if you take photo
5. Stay out of its line of vision
These are very delicate creatures who are easily spooked.
There have been many failed attempts to lay eggs on our beaches and possibly for some of the above reasons.
Successful nests have been discovered on some beaches in Alicante province and south Murcia recently 🙌🥰
