Last September 27-29, 2024, the City of General Santos played host to the 13th Regional Travel Fair, organized by the Tourism Promotions Board Philippines. This event brought together DOT Regional Offices, tourism stakeholders, and passionate travel enthusiasts from across the country.

Visitors were treated to exciting travel deals, immersive cultural performances and exhibits, and tours showcasing the beauty of SOCCSKSARGEN.

Lake Holon, situated in 𝙏’𝙗𝙤𝙡𝙞, 𝙎𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝘾𝙤𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙤, is the crater lake of the dormant stratovolcano, Mt. Parker (also known as Mt. Melibingoy). This hidden gem is recognized as one of the cleanest lakes in the Philippines. To reach the lake, visitors can opt for a challenging route via the Kule Trail or a less challenging path through the Salacafe Trail. Along the journey, tourists can take in stunning views while enjoying the diverse local flora and fauna.
