“I got this feeling inside my bones”...you’re going to LOVE THIS! A much anticipated family-friendly area at Universal Studios is now open and if the littles in your life (at least 36" tall) love the Trolls movie franchise, you’re in luck! At the brand new Dreamworks Land, join Poppy, Branch and the rest of the troll pals for a ride on the Trollercoaster. What a perfect name! It’s short, sweet and just enough thrill for an introduction to roller coasters.
There’s also a playground, sweet treats, entertainment, character meets and so much to explore throughout the land. They built this vibrant animation-comes-to-life environment with young families in mind and they definitely hit the mark!

The “Trolls” fun features are just a small part of what makes Dreamworks Land so special and a place you’ll want to bring the kids. Experience Kung-Fu Panda and Shrek inspired rides, shows and play areas too! Universal isn’t just for teens or adults and this is just more proof!

25 years of Disney Wonder! Bigger doesn’t always mean better and this is so very true of this world-class vessel. While cruise lines are trending toward mega ships, the cozy intimacy of the Disney Wonder offers a now unique, more relaxing experience that will have you disembarking with unforgettable memories.

This beauty sails to Australia, Alaska and Caribbean destinations and is now booking into 2026! Maybe this year is the one you take a Halloween or Christmas cruise? Click the link in my bio if you’ve been “wondering” what a Disney Cruise is like!

Disney Springs is the dining capital of Orlando for sure, and now there’s another restaurant to make the massive number of options even harder to wade through! Summer House on the Lake is surely going to be your next restaurant obsession (hello cookie bar, need I say more?)! The dishes are light and practically scream summer, and isn’t that the quintessential Florida dining checklist? Do you have a set in stone Disney Springs dining spot for every trip, or would you be open to trying something new like Summer House on the Lake?

The brand new Summer House on the Lake is actually pretty easy to miss when you’re just breezing through Disney Springs. The architecture is bright, airy, full of whites and windows and decidedly not intrusive at all. This is the place you absolutely want to brunch with your girlfriends, have a cookie or ten with your teens or have a Disney Springs date night with your Mickey-there is literally something here for everyone. Show of hands, who didn’t realize there was a new eatery ready to steal your hearts in Disney Springs? Who has tried it? What did you think?

Happy Waffle Day! Every day a waffle is involved is almost guaranteed to be a happy one. Whether it’s drenched in butter and syrup at breakfast, topped with spicy chicken and slaw for lunch or wrapped around two scoops of your favorite flavor as a dessert, it’s golden, crispy perfection!

I love a Mickey waffle, it really compliments any Disney vacation.

When someone says “waffle”, what do your taste buds tell you they want to have?

After a full day going hard at Magic Kingdom, the pressure to stay for the fireworks can feel as heavy as your tired feet. Even your inner child is exhausted at the thought of facing the rush to the bus stop and long wait to get back to the resort. It can feel a little daunting, I’ve been there!
What if I told you the best seat in the house isn’t at the Castle hub, it’s in your resort room bed! Disney On Demand brings the fireworks to your resort room TV! You can watch Happily Ever After under the covers and fall off to sleep as soon as it’s done. The recording is fantastic. It’s not quite as good as the real thing, but it’s a nice backup plan when you’re just out of steam.

Of course there’s nothing like watching fireworks live, but being able to view them at any time shows how tuned in Disney is to their guests’ needs. The Disney difference is real and still going strong! Ready to go? Click the link in my bio to get started

might be biased, but without a doubt you NEED a day (or even two) dedicated to non-park fun at Universal Orlando. Despite what you may think, it’s not just a 3-Day/3-Park destination, it’s a full resort experience. Each on-property hotel is unique and offers so much more than just a place to crash.
And CityWalk is FULL of dining, shopping, entertainment and fun for the whole family, LITERALLY within walking distance to many of the on-property hotels. Imagine sleeping in, going for a swim, having a delicious lunch, playing a round of mini golf, grabbing dinner and a movie and then walking back to your hotel to rest up for another day of thrilling rides.

Trust me when I say you will have an even better experience when you build in a day to rest, relax and see where the day takes you at Universal Orlando Resort. Email me, I’m ready when you are to get started planning your vacation!

The logistics of a cruise vacation can be daunting, but my job is to streamline the process to make it easy for my guests. One recommendation I make is to stay inside the "Disney bubble" pre-cruise. Meaning, stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. It will make a HUGE difference in the experience. Here’s why:
Early Arrival: Since you should ALWAYS arrive a day before your cruise, kick-off the magic early at Walt Disney World and use Disney transportation to get to the port.
Priority Boarding: Disney transportation offers you a better cruise boarding slot, avoiding the rush and starts your cruise off smoothly.
Luggage Delivery: Pack a day bag and let Disney handle the rest. Once on the motor-coach, you won’t touch your luggage until it’s delivered directly to your stateroom. Stress-Free Travel: Disney ensures your timely arrival at the port, eliminating worries about traffic or delays. If unexpected issues arise, Disney waits for you – that doesn’t happen using any other port transportation.

Who wouldn’t want a seamless transition from land to sea? Let’s make your Disney Cruise Line vacation unforgettable. Reach out to start planning! Click the link in my bio to get started on a quote today

Are you more a “Glamper” than a camper? With the brand new family cabins coming to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground (BOOKING NOW OPEN), it might be time to rethink what your Walt Disney World vacation could look like. Spacious cabins, boat access to Magic Kingdom, too many outdoor activities to list (but ok here’s a few: horseback riding, kayaking, biking, archery) and unique dining experiences all while surrounded by a serene cypress forest and Bay Lake. This tranquil and rustically charming resort offers a very unplugged retreat from a very plugged in theme park experience.

The resort is massive and the kind that you could spend a week at and never have to visit a park to have fun. So while it’s not quite “hidden,” it is indeed a GEM! There must be Fort Wilderness fans out there that can share their experience, please share your experience!

MYTH BUSTED! You don't need to spend a fortune to live out your Disney dreams! There really is an on-property resort option for every budget. The All-Star Resorts are the most affordable and have theming to please just about everyone. All-Star Movies Resort specifically, has BIG Disney vibes and brings classic stories to life with sections featuring Fantasia, 101 Dalmatians, Toy Story, The Mighty Ducks, and The Love Bug- all which offer so many incredible photo opportunities!

When taking a break from the parks, you’ll love the pool activities, playground, arcade, shopping and the World Premiere Food Court. You can even enjoy Movies Under the Stars most nights. Be sure to check out the activities board around the resort to see the schedule for the movies and other activities like campfires!

We have stayed at this resort a few times and they have the best pizza to feed your whole family dinner (and it's not expensive either)

PRO-TIP Mobile order meals via the My Disney Experience app to breeze past food court crowds. Click the link in my bio to start planning your unforgettable vacation.

If binging episodes of “Bluey” is a big part of your life right now, Storybook Circus will be too when you arrive at Magic Kingdom. With two attractions, a water play area, four character meet and greets, a large shaded relaxation area, a huge shopping/snack location and its own train station to haul tired little legs to other areas of the park, it’s made for families with small children. Not that you won’t see adults like me riding Dumbo, the Barnstormer or hugging Donaldo, but it’s an ideal playground for little ones.

Naturally, Magic Kingdom is the quintessential park for small children with areas like Storybook Circus, but all four parks have wonderful family friendly experiences too that you won’t want to miss! If you’re a seasoned traveler with little ones, share your favorite spots! If not, send me a message and let‘s chat!

What could be better than live music, hot pretzels and beer cheese? Only enjoying all three at Universal Studios’ Finnegan’s Bar & Grill! I know we’re coming up on St. Patrick’s Day, but you’ll be feeling lucky any day you get to pop into this Irish eatery.

We talk a lot about Disney dining, but Universal Studios really has some gems you won’t want to overlook. I’ve got a bunch of recommendations! Click the link in my bio when you’re ready to book that Universal vacation!

I’m just going to say it... f***y packs are the unsung heroes of a Universal Studios vacation. Can’t wrap your head around rockin’ the pack, here’s my top three reasons why you need to change your mind:

Bypass the Lockers: MANY attractions at Universal Studios require that larger bags are put in a locker prior to getting in line. Most, however, allow f***y packs, only three don’t. That’s a big time saver.

Hands Free: Hands free to hold more Butterbeer! No awkward maneuvering needed to access your stuff, just look down my friend, it’s right there.

Forced to Pack Light: With limited space for just the essentials, you’ll have no choice but to leave any “just in case” but totally unnecessary items at home.

Weigh in below, are you team f***y pack at Universal?

If there’s one thing you need to know about TRON Lightcycle/Run it is that you can’t simply wait in line to ride it. You heard that right, there is no standby line. There are two ways to “enter the grid” and both require the use of the My Disney Experience app. Here are your options:
1. Virtual Queue: For most guests, there will be two opportunities to join a virtual queue-one in the morning and in the afternoon. It’s competitive and fills up in nanoseconds. You need fast fingers, luck and tips.
2. Individual Lightning Lane: You can buy your way on, which is more likely to be available but again, it’s not guaranteed. The cost can also add up real quick.

I can’t answer if I think the ride is worth buying an Individual Lightning Lane, that’s subjective. However, I can state with authority that if you want to ride it and don’t get the opportunity to, that’s going to sting and you don’t want that. Let’s work together on your Walt Disney World vacation planning so you are prepped and ready for all the tech required for today’s Disney vacations! Seriously, if you’re looking for a family-friendly adventure that feels straight out of a Pixar dream, Cars Land is where it’s at. And if getting giggles from your littles is what you’re after, you need to get on Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters, it’s so fun! The whole family will enjoy spinning and twirling (at just the right speed-no hurling) to Italian inspired songs inside dancing cars. Yes, dancing cars!

Cars Land is a family favorite, you feel like you are walking on Route 66!

I’ve probably said this before, but it’s worth saying again, ride all the Cars Land attractions, including Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadster both day and night! The park literally glows!

Want to step into Radiator Springs? Well daggum, let’s make it happen! Email me at [email protected] and let's get you on Route 66!

06/03/2024

I can’t say it enough, “Me and We Time.” A Disney Cruise Line vacation is the perfect trip where kids can explore and do all the magical things in a safe, worry-free environment, while adults can relax, be pampered, wined & dined. All ships have wonderful adult only areas, but the vibe in the Ooh La La champagne bar reminds me that I’m an adult and I don’t always have to be in a carpool line. What is your favorite “I’m an adult” thing to do on a Disney Cruise Line adventure?

Whether it be a solo trip, or a couples only trip, Disney Cruise Line wants the adults to know this amazing ship is their playground as well. Don’t let the “Disney” fool you; DCL voyages can be ALL about adults in the best way. You will get Disney’s impeccable guest service, amazing dining, fun ports to visit and in many cases, may not even lay eyes on kids for much of the sailing. When thinking of an adults only trip, don’t take DCL out of the running! What is most important to you when traveling without kids?

TRUTH BOMB “EPCOT isn’t really for kids” is OLD SCHOOL THINKING! But even before Nemo, Anna & Elsa, Remy and Moana showed up there was Figment. This lovable and sometimes mischievous purple dragon is the very embodiment of imagination and a kindred spirit to playful children of all ages. You’ll find him at EPCOT’s Imagination Pavilion which is a wonderland for kids, offering a fun attraction exploring the senses and a mix of interactive experiences, creative play areas, learning and character meets in the ImageWorks-”What If” Labs as you exit the ride.

Don’t let the often short wait times fool you into thinking it’s not worth a stop here. If you have small children or big fans of Figment in your bunch, this is the place to be! Do we have any Figment fans among us? Drop a purple heart in the comments!

Bigger isn’t always better and Disneyland proves that yet again with their version of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. Now, the rides on both coasts are essentially identical, but the queue is where the west coast steals the spotlight!
The El Capitoon Theater is home to a walk through “Mickey Through the Ears” exhibit which is full of props, replicas, hidden Mickeys and Easter eggs from Mickey Mouse cartoons over the last 100 years. There is so much to look at (and experience!), you may not even want to use Disney Genie+ for this attraction. I won’t spoil it too much, but take a look at the prices on the two concession registers. $11.18 and $19.28 together are Mickey Mouse’s birthday (11/18/1928)!

There is so much wonder and magic at Disneyland. Every fan needs to feel it for themselves! I’m ready to help when you’re ready to go! Email me at [email protected] to get started on a free quote

Animal Kingdom is far more than an average zoo – it's a living, breathing showcase of wildlife and nature. Trust me on this...don't brush off this park. Take your time here, and you'll find magic in the details like along the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail. It's not just about the majestic gorillas, you’ll also encounter hippos, birds, meerkats and more. You may see a feeding, learn facts from Cast Members or witness something rare and beautiful that will stick with you forever. Not to be dramatic, but it’s pretty amazing!

And no worries, there are also plenty of thrills to be had at this park too! OK friends, let’s help change some minds. Tell us your favorite part of Animal Kingdom in the comments. Spare no detail!

Stay immersed in the world of Dr. Seuss at mealtime when you dine at The Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-pendous! This Islands of Adventure eatery inside Seuss Landing is themed from (big) top to bottom. Serving elevated kid- friendly fare, this quick service restaurant offers plenty of seating and a lot to look at while your order is prepared. Whether you’re utilizing the fun photo spots, watching the circus performers or waving to other guests riding the High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride that passes overhead, this is a dining experience your family will remember!

This is just one example of how Universal Orlando Resort takes their quick service restaurant themes seriously, offering their guests a memorable experience without having to break the budget. Email me at [email protected] to take a closer look at Universal!
