▪️You already have something in common—you’re all on a Disney cruise! Conversations often naturally flow around favorite activities, ports, or shows.
▪️Many guests end up making friends or learning tips from their tablemates, which can be a fun bonus!
▪️Kids often hit it off and make fast friends!

What to do if you REALLY want to dine privately:
▪️Request a private table before your cruise and once again onboard. It’s not guaranteed.
▪️Skip the rotational dining and grab a bite at one of the quick-service spots.
▪️Order room service, it’s included in the price!
▪️Treat yourself to Palo or Remy (reservations required).

👙⛱🏄‍♀️ Let’s talk about water park reality—yes, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon have plenty of free chairs, and sure, not all of them are baking in the sun. But finding enough seats together for your whole crew AND in the shade? That’s a tall order. Enter Picnic Umbrella Spaces, aka your ticket to shade, comfort, and a stress-free spot to call your own. Here’s why it’s worth the splurge:
For $49 and up (price varies by date), you can book your private oasis through the My Disney Experience app. It’s basically a mini lounge with:
▪️4 towels

🏉🏆Super Bowl Sunday is here, and we’re all about the food! There’s no wrong way to snack your way through the game. Whether you’re going with classic nachos, a savory charcuterie board, or keeping it light with a healthy mix like Batuu Bits, it’s a day to indulge in what you love to eat...oh and root for your team.
But let’s imagine for a second—you could cater your Super Bowl spread straight from a Disney restaurant. Where would you pick? Will you grab Casey’s Corner hot dogs, go all-in on a Flame Tree Barbecue feast, bring the magic of ‘Ohana to your living room or someplace else?

The wand chooses the wizard, you know, and everything about visiting The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is like stepping straight into the movies and books - even the wands! Here are a few helpful tips for aspiring wizards to know before hitting these areas of both parks:
▪Interactive vs Standard Wands: Not all wands are created equally so be sure to choose wisely based on what you want to do. Interactive wands are pricier but there are lots of spell locations throughout both parks (marked by medallions on the ground) where you can put your wizarding skills to the test.
▪Ollivanders Wand Shop: For the serious fans, this is a special place. Small groups are taken into the shop and a lucky one will be chosen to go through a wand selection. Even if you aren’t chosen, you will find wands for all the beloved (and villainous) characters.
▪Spell Locations: There are more than 20 areas through the Wizarding World where you can test out your skills with an interactive wand, which comes with a map of spell locations. A word of warning, many of these are tough to get just right so don’t get discouraged. There are usually Team Members around to help if you need a little extra assistance.

🏖A vacation is an investment, right? And let’s be real—a Disney Cruise Line vacation can feel like a BIG investment. You want to make sure it’s absolutely perfect. I’ve got you! Let’s break down a few ways to make sure you’re planning the ultimate Disney cruise:

▪Itinerary: There are a LOT of options. The Caribbean is a big place, so make sure you know if you want Eastern or Western. Or are you in it for the scenery of Alaska or the Mediterranean.
▪Stateroom: I know we all THINK the room is just a place to sleep, but when you’re sharing 169 square feet it can feel small even with your eyes closed. Not having natural light is also a deal breaker for many. Be selective with the room!
▪Activities: There are SO many! Download the Disney Cruise Line app before boarding. That’s where you’ll access everything happening onboard. You can even favorite the activities you want to do, and you’ll get a reminder notification a little before it starts. Enjoy activities like trivia, Bingo, character meet and greets, animation classes, crafts, and more.

🎆If you’re planning to catch Luminous: The Symphony of Us nighttime spectacular at EPCOT, let’s talk best viewing strategies. There are a few options, both free and paid. Free Viewing Strategies:
▪️Arrive early! Head to the World Showcase Lagoon about 45-60 minutes before showtime. Prime spots fill up quickly, especially in front of the Mexico and Japan pavilions.
▪️Consider areas like the bridge near the France pavilion or along the water at the Norway pavilion
▪️Sometimes the best spots open up closer to showtime, so walk around and keep an eye out!

Paid Viewing Options:
▪️Reserve a dining package at restaurants like Rose & Crown or Spice Road Table to enjoy a meal with guaranteed seating in a reserved viewing area. Delicious food AND a fantastic view? Yes, please!
▪️Indulge in sweet treats and sparkling beverages while watching the show from a dedicated spot. These parties book quickly, so plan ahead!

📍Pro Tip: If you’re not in a rush, hang back for a bit after the show ends. The crowds thin out, and you can enjoy a peaceful stroll under the glow of EPCOT at night. So dreamy! Got a secret ”best spot” to share?

☃️🏖Blizzard Beach is BACK—and better than ever! Walt Disney World’s Blizzard Beach Water Park has reopened, and it’s had some magical upgrades! If you’ve been thinking about using that free water park day perk on your check-in day instead of hitting the resort pool, what’s new might tip the scales in the water park’s favor, especially if you’re traveling with little “Frozen” fans!

The Tykes Peak kid-friendly splash area now features “Frozen”-themed touches with Anna, Elsa and Olaf. Just think of the photos! Plus, they’ve added some new sweet and savory menu items that may give the sand pail ice cream sundae a run for its money. Add to that being able to walk over to Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course to use the Magical Extra free round of mini golf voucher and that’s a whole lotta fun on Disney’s dime!

While it’s hard not to just drop your bags and hit the theme parks upon arrival, such a free and VALUABLE perk doesn’t come around very often. If I can answer any questions for you about Blizzard Beach or the free water park visit on check-in day perk, drop them in the comments or message me!

🚂 🎫 Rule #1 at Universal Orlando: get the Park-to-Park ticket! Rule number two? Refer to rule number one. No one wants to throw money away, but you can’t fully experience the magic of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter without it. Both Hogsmeade (Islands of Adventure) and Diagon Alley (Universal Studios) are spellbinding, and you’ll need (and want) that park-to-park ticket to ride the Hogwarts Express between them. Let’s compare the two lands:

▪️Food: Diagon Alley offers Leaky Cauldron, and Hogsmeade has The Three Broomsticks. Both are packed with snacks, sweets, and endless Butterbeer.
▪️Rides: Diagon Alley features Escape from Gringotts, while Hogsmeade has Forbidden Journey, Flight of the Hippogriff, and the fan-favorite Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. (Dare we say the best ride in Orlando?!)
▪️Ambiance: Hogwarts Castle vs a fire-breathing dragon? Impossible to choose. Both have Ollivanders Wand Shop.

I know it’s like asking who is more precious: Lula or Neville... but if you HAD to choose to visit just one land, would you go with Hogsmeade or Diagon Alley?
