Sunny with temperatures in the mid-60s on Oak Island today making it a great day for a walk on the beach.

Did you know over 40 movies and TV shows have filmed in Southport? Check out the Ft Johnston Southport Museum and Visitors Center to see props from the movie Safe Haven and to learn more about filming in Southport - then head out to see locations used in film and TV productions such as Safe Haven, A Walk to Remember, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Dawson's Creek, and Under the Dome.
