Day 2 was another incredible adventure with Black Travel Maine! 🌊 We docked in the charming, quaint town of Castine, home to the Maine Maritime Academy, near the Canadian border. Then, Captain Becky gave me the thrill of a lifetime by letting me steer the ship! Another amazing day sailing the beautiful coast of Maine.

What a stunning Saturday to scout out locations for our upcoming summer tour! Today, I ventured to Jewels Falls on the Portland Trails. This beautiful waterfall is accessible to hikers of all skill levels, making it a perfect spot for everyone. Though it's an easy hike, it still gave my body a nice little workout. Can't wait to share more about what we have planned for the summer! 🌲💦

We are very strategic when choosing our partners, and we look to be sure that our partners align with our mission of exposing Black, Brown, and Multi-Ethnic travelers to Maine.

Therefore, when we met with Tony and his team , we knew immediately this hotel brand was the one we wanted to work with. They showed us commitment to our market and audience.

We did a hotel buy-out of ALL 15 rooms on a weekend that typically would have been slow for them!!

& , we plan to buy out his entire 48-room new hotel for next year's MLK event.
