Due to a group visit on Saturday, last admission to the exhibition and food orders in the cafe will be at 1pm as we will close at 2pm to accommodate the large party.

Many of our scenic roads in the Highlands and Islands are single track roads with passing places, which can be unfamiliar to visitors.

Here are some helpful tips to enjoy your drive safer

🚙 Always keep to the left. if the passing place is on the right, wait opposite it.
🚙 If you're driving slower than someone behind you, use the passing place to allow them to overtake. Frustration causes accidents!
🚙 Open grazing for livestock is commonplace. Lookout for sheep, cattle and other animals on the road, and slow down when passing them.
🚙 Never park in a passing place.
🚙 When on hills, give way to drivers coming up the hill.
