Nidhi Shirol is a feisty girl, all of 18, a 1st year B.Com student.

But Nidhi is not your average girl.

She was diagnosed with a called at 7. She spent 10 years on ventilator (through tracheostomy). She went to college with 2 machines attached to her body, on an automated wheelchair.

But Nidhi is not your average girl.

The odds aren't stacked as well for her as they should have been. And so, on 21st Sept 2017, while in college, her ventilator malfunctioned. She suffered a cardiac arrest and Hypoxia Brain Injury.

But Nidhi is not your average girl.

She fights. She refuses to give up. She loathes to be pitied.

So, she has had her cardiac function restored. She responded well to the treatments and her organs and vitals are stable. But, she has been unable to come out of the coma since.

We all want Nidhi to come back to us. We all want to see her in her elements once again. But there's just the matter of her treatment.

Nidhi is not your average girl. Neither is her treatment.

Around 10 lacs has already been spent by her family, friends and well-wishers. Around 15 lacs more is estimated to be required.

Yes, you read that right. It is a huge amount.

But you can help, can't you? Maybe sacrifice that movie you were planning to see this weekend? Or postpone that visit to the newest restaurant in town?

Why? Because Nidhi is not your average girl. She is worth making that sacrifice.

No, Nidhi is not an ordinary girl.

So, of course, the odds stacked against her are not ordinary either. On 21st Sept 2017, while in college, her ventilator malfunctioned. She suffered a cardiac arrest and Hypoxia Brain Injury. She went into a coma, and in spite of having responded well to all the treatments, and all her organs and vitals being stable, she still remains comatose.

But Nidhi is not an ordinary girl.

She fights and refuses to give up and has an incredible zest for life.

What stands in her way is an estimated expense of ₹25 lakhs. Around ₹10 lakhs has already been spent. ₹15 lakhs more is needed. Yes, you read that right. It is huge.

But you can help, can't you? Maybe sacrifice that movie you were planning to see this weekend? Or postpone that visit to the hottest new restaurant in town? Why, you ask...?

Hirschsprung is a that affects newborns, mainly, and can be potentially life threatening if left untreated for long.
Cases like this aren't unheard of. But this man was lucky - some other kid might not be.

The unnamed man is believed to have been suffering from a rare congenital disease known as Hirschsprung.

We are in London!!!

An epic journey of 52 days draws to a close... and we have become the first two Bengalis to have driven, in our own car, from Kolkata to London!

Mission Howrah Bridge 2 London Bridge on Wheels, successful!!!

Amidst all the excitement, let's not forget why we did this in the first place (apart from our love of roads, of course). Millions of our fellow Indians suffer from . There is neither sufficient awareness, nor infrastructure to help their treatment.
