Yesterday we drove from Park City to Bryce Canyon. As you can imagine, the scenery was incredible. We are staying in an adorable cabin in Tropic and can’t wait to explore the area for a few days ❤️❤️

Hello from Park City, Utah!! Day three was all about the Bonneville Salt Flats and the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium. Both of these experiences were fantastic. The Salt Flat is an incredible feat of nature. Stay tuned for more on these in a future blog!

Day two started with an expected opportunity to see the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and it was incredible!! The acoustics in the Tabernacle are unbelievable.

Then we went on a Walking Tour of Salt Lake and it was only me and Greg in the group…win!! Ashley was an incredible tour guide and it was a perfect weather day.

Lunch at a burger bar and checking out Olympic Park, made for a perfect day ❤️❤️

Utah, Day One! Flew into Salt Lake City and arrived at our hotel in Park City exhausted. Catching up with ourselves and will spend the day exploring Salt Lake City tomorrow. Let the adventures begin!

Yesterday, I taught Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) to a local non-profit. The goal was to help their staff understand what they need to know and do if someone they know is contemplating su***de. I just received the following from the Executive Director:

Nice job yesterday! You delivered the material with compassion and clarity, and the length of the training was just enough to give us the information we needed in our roles.

I love talking with organizations about the content of my presentation and offering strategies, tools, and resources that can help. Helping people understand that they are not alone and the importance of education, tools, and resources can save a person's life.

Mental Health Respite Travel is at the core of my business. Hearing the stories and giving reassurance to those that are living with a mental health challenge, and those that the support, and working through ideas for respite gives me great joy.

Cari of Cari Me Away Travels is one of the most compassionate people I am honored to know. In crafting new copy for her website revamp I learned so much about stuff I take for granted as a neurotypical, able-bodied traveler.
Concepts like accessible travel, how to make it possible for a wheelchair user to dip their toes in the ocean, navigating when you have sensory issues or anxiety, and more were all COMPLETELY foreign to me.
I mean, have YOU ever seen a wheelchair on the beach or thought about how the heck you might get one through a sand dune? I certainly hadn't.
But wait, there's more...
Not only is Cari an ace travel advisor, she's also a certified mental health first aid instructor AND a certified autism travel professional. (Also had no idea these classifications existed.) And she's on a mission to make vacations magical no matter what your or your family member's situation.
When I created my copywriting business and landed on the tagline of "snappy copy for brands that give a s**t" this is EXACTLY the type of brand I had in mind. Impact-driven, passionate, inclusive, and just downright amazing.

I am seriously considering offering a group trip to Iceland to see the 2026 Solar Eclipse in August. We would take the direct flight out of Boston and this experience would be led by yours truly. Who would like to be added to my “learn more” list as I pull this together??

A sweet thank you note arrived today from a client’s granddaughter. Her grandmother took her and a cousin to London and Paris in June and it was so fun to plan. Multi-generational trips are the best!

Getting ready to check in clients traveling to England, Scotland, and Ireland!! This multi-generational trip includes visiting family in England and then heading to the Orkney Islands and then to Dublin.

We started planning this trip almost a year ago and it was a complicated Itinerary. Two travelers flying out of Minneapolis and two out of Montreal. Lots of moving parts, but I am so excited for their adventures together.
