Cadiz Saturday afternoon. Very lucky.
Guernsey day 1. First evening of wandering round the local coast. Couldn’t have asked for better weather.
A treat today on our walk. We followed the noise and were delighted to find a lovely woodpecker. The things you see when you haven’t a big lens. Drat. But still delighted and excited like a big child! Some pretty poor photos below.
Marbella. Sure what do I care if someone is thinking who is that old doll in hiking boots dancing away on the beach. I just hope no one pointed their cameras this way. But missing my dance buddies! We need to dance on the beach again soon. This pre sunset drinking is great…Wall Street Band at Maliki Beach
Ribeiro Frio and the levada of Serra do Faial, bring us to the Balcões belvedere, looking over Ribeira da Metade

A bracing 10 km hike today up and along Sliabh Liag, Slieve League or Slieve Liag, a mountain on the Atlantic coast of County Donegal. At 596 metres, they are 3 times the height of the Cliffs of Moher and spectacular in every way. Exhausted but glad to have done this and so lucky again with the weather! #slieveleague #slieveleaguecliffs #donegal
Day 17 and a wee look at the views from Ben Nevis. Such a rocky bleak summit but the view is amazing. So many mountains to wander through and over.
