EVEREST BASE CAMP- 2016/ 2017

Everest Base Camp is one of the best classic treks in Nepal. Trekkers commonly visited as a two week treks starting and finishing at Lukla airport, just to south of Everest National Park. The flight from Kathmandu, which takes around forty-five minutes to reach Lukla. Most of the trekkers proceed further via Dudh Koshi valley, Phakding (three hours from Lukla), and Monzo (five hours from Lukla), after two days trek up trekkers reach Namche Bazer. Just beyond Monzo, trekkers enter the Everest National Park at the Jorsale check post. Here entry permits will be checked and the visitors passport details recorded. The trail, which has been following the Dudh Koshi since Lukla, starts the ascent to Namche Bazer about one hour past Jorsale. Namche Bazer was once an important trading centre on the route from Tibet to Nepal but has now been largely given over to catering for the needs of trekkers.

In the context of Nepal traditional marriage system that is arranged marriage is very common.The boy's parents usually ask girl's parents for her hand for their son.The marriage broker or the mediator,who is called LAMI in nepal plays an important role to unite the two young people.She,with the help of the girls and boy's parents fixed the wedding day consulting the tradition calender called PATRO.
On the day of wedding the groom leaves his home towards bride's home after eating sagun(an auspicious food)along with therelations,neighbour and other participants.The participants along with the groom is called JANTI and th process is called JANTA.There is a system of going to bride's home or on wedding spot with music band.After they arrived at bride's home the process is begin rather the performance is long.After she receive sindoor from the groom,the marriage become legal and reliable.The marriage process enda when the bride's father or brother farewells the bride.
The main events of marriage ceremony are giving and receiving rings,giving sindoor to the bride,performing YAGYA and finally introduction between families of bride's and groom's.The marriage party may follow on the day of marriage in bride's home and on the next day in the groom's house or in any other places.

The city of Kathmandu is named after a structure in Durbar Square called the Kasthamandap. In Sanskrit, Kasth is "wood" and Mandap s "covered shelter." This unique temple, also known as Maru Sthal, was built in 1596 by King Laxmi Narsingh Malla. The entire structure contains no iron nails or supports and is made entirely from wood. Legend has it that the timber used for this two-story pagoda was obtained from a single tree.
Kathmandu is also sometimes called "Kantipur". "Kanti" is an alternate name of the Goddess Lakshmi, and "pur" means the place where such a goddess resides. Thus, the name Kantipur demonstrates the ancient belief that it is the place where Lakshmi dwells.
