Amidst the tiny narrow streets of the old fisherman's quarter of Port de Soller sits this beautiful old fishermans cottage. This stylish renovation has retained all the original features and complemented them with refined modern contemporary design to create a property full of character.
Located on a quiet lane set back directly from the harbour the property is ideally located for the beach and marina with a wonderful selection of bars and restaurants.
Arranged over three floors, the ground floor provides a cozy living space with sofa, armchairs and wood burning stove for the cooler months and a set of double doors opening onto the quaint lane, and original shuttered windows to the rear. A modern kitchen is located on the lower ground floor, complete with dining table for two and all the amenities for your stay.
The bedroom and ensuite are located on the first floor with a double bed and air conditioning unit which provides additional cooling for the summer months. A minimalist glass enclosure screens the elegant bathroom, with handmade tiles and oak shelves contributing to the refined detail. The walk in shower has good water pressure for a refreshing soak.
Shuttered windows open onto the lane below and onto views of the hills and mountains over the Port.

For guests convenience keys are provided within a key safe adjacent to the front door.

We also arrange for a someone to welcome you to the property (late arrivals will be visited the following day) and show you around to ensure you are familiarized with all the facilities and to answer any questions to ensure you have the best possible start to your stay with us.

The best thing about this house is it's location. The property is conveniently located just seconds from the harbour and 150 metres from the beach for boat excursions and the tram that connects the port to the stunning old town of Soller.

El Retiro is an ideal base from which to explore the beautiful Sierra Tramuntana region and all it has to offer.
