Memorial Park includes both activity centers and natural habitat conservation. Over 100 acres, the Park includes 1.65 miles of Hike and Bike trails and a 3/4 mile Nature trail with interpretive signs, and rest benches. The facilities include soccer fields, basketball courts, baseball/softball fields, off leash Dog Park, Skate Park, playscapes and fitness stations, birding sites and picnic facilities.

Come enjoy the beautiful beaches and gentle waves of the Gulf of Mexico. Rockport, TX and the general South Texas region are quite nice in the fall. During September through late October, our average temperatures are still warm enough to swim at the beach in the afternoon. Of course, many winter Texans come every year.
