What better way to explore a city than by understanding food culture. During our walking food tour in Condesa and Roma, we learned about starting your day with panaderia, easing into taco al pastor with a side of Chapulines (😜), a can’t miss barbacoa y cervezo, a little mole, and the
coup de grâce, a delicious helado.

Escapism isn’t a bad thing…especially to a city as vibrant as CDMX (Cuidad de Mexico). Our first day took us to the beautiful Frida Kahlo museum, Casa Azul where she lived with her family and later with her husband, Diego Rivera. She learned to paint while lying in bed convalescing from her many surgeries. Her beauty admist pain is inspiring. “Feet what do I need you for when I have wings to fly.“
