(DCI) is a non-profit business organization with a mission to build a dynamic metropolitan center valued as the heart of the region. The organization was incorporated in 1994 and is funded by a Special Improvement District that includes all property within the boundaries of Eggleston Avenue on the east, Central Parkway on the north, Central Avenue on the west (including the Centennial buildings),

and the river on the south (excluding the two stadiums). Our Services Plan is available for download on this page. DCI provides leadership and advocacy for important issues that ensure long-term downtown vitality, and plays an important role in working with strong partners to improve the city. DCI delivers its mission by providing services in three areas:

* Maintaining and enhancing a safe, clean and welcoming environment downtown, including the recognized Downtown Ambassador program--visible in bright orange and blue uniforms and great attention to detail and quick response.

* Maintaining and enhancing the image, awareness and usage of downtown as a vibrant hub of activity through strategic marketing and communications, including the popular Downtown Guide, proactive media relations and presentations, Downtown Dazzle holiday events and timely email communications.

* Advocate for and support business and residential growth downtown through stakeholder services programs and serving as the primary source of downtown data collection and distribution to stakeholders by providing semiannual and annual State of Downtown reports.

After honing her skill during the pandemic and going on to become a licensed cosmetologist, nail artist MiAngel Zanders is gearing up to celebrate the grand opening of her namesake salon today. Located at 1525 Race Street in Cincinnati Center City Development Corp. (3CDC)’s $17 million mixed-use Abington Race & Pleasant project, NailsxMiangel will join an array of other beauty-related businesses in Over-the-Rhine (OTR).

Zanders, who specializes in acrylic nails, will offer a variety of manicure and pedicure styles including gel, gel-x and more. The technicians will operate independently, renting booths within the salon.

NailsxMiAngel is open Tuesday thru Saturday with no set hours. Appointments are encouraged but walk-ins are always welcome. Follow along on social media at NailsxMiangel for additional updates, hours and other important information.
