Norwegian Cruise Line has released its 2026 spring/summer itineraries including Bermuda cruises sailing from Philadelphia!
The new 2026 spring/summer season includes nearly 250 sailings to the Caribbean, Bahamas, Bermuda and Alaska from nine major ports across the country, including the return to the Port of Philadelphia. On April 16, 2026, Norwegian Jewel will commence seven-to-nine-day cruises to Bermuda, launching the city as a new cruise destination.

Check out this amazing new drone show at Disney Springs May 24 - September 2. It looks amazing!

The skies above Disney Springs will come alive with our new “Disney Dreams that Soar presented by AT&T” drone show beginning May 24.

“We are presenting Disney characters who have had a dream of flying. Not just the idea that they can fly, but the idea of taking their lives to the next level.” said Show Director, Tony Giordano. “We put a lot of thought in making sure that no matter how old you are, or how much of a fan you are, you're going to see a character that you love.”

And a lot of characters means a lot of drones. 800 drones to be exact – all working together to create a massive canvas in the night sky. Trust us, nothing can prepare guests for the awe of seeing a Baymax nearly twice the height of Spaceship Earth inflate, transform, and disappear right in front of their eyes.

Music plays a big role in that connection. “Disney Dreams that Soar” features well-known and beloved soundtracks in addition to an original song that will inspire guests to follow their hearts, take a leap of faith, and reach for the stars.

Insider tip: The best place to experience the drones “dancing” to this new soundtrack will be along the waterway in the Disney Springs West Side. Checking out of the Contemporary resort today. First time visiting during Christmas week and it was very crowded as expected but we still had a wonderful time! The holiday decorations and events were beautiful. Staying at the contemporary was very convenient with the monorail. I love so many of the resorts for different reasons but this one might be my top choice!

Did you know that Starbucks is on all of the NCL ships? It is an extra fee, but you can use Starbucks giftcards for your purchases! I was able to get one of the special NCL mugs that Starbucks has designed for their “Been There” series. Each mug has the ship name and a few images unique to things that are on that ship. Love taking a little bit of the Joy home with me 😊

There are so many dining options on NCL Joy. There are 3 main dining rooms, a 24 hour bar/restaurant, and giant buffet that are all complimentary. Specialty dining restaurants are an additional fee but we feel that they are certainly worth it. Besides the complimentary options we also tried Cagneys steakhouse, Teppanyaki Japanese hibachi dining, La Cucina Italian, Food Republic Asian, The Q bar b que. we didn’t get time to try Le Bistro French or Ocean Blue seafood.
NCL is “free style cruising” so you dine when you want at the complimentary dining, no reservations or set dining time! Reservations at specialty dining are needed, you can book these prior to sailing. There are also tons of bar areas around the ship. With the current NCL promotion you can receive the Unlimited Beverage package for FREE and up to 2 Specialty dining meals FREE! Plus you can upgrade these offers to enjoy these options even more!

We stopped at one of Norwegian’s private islands, Harvest Cay in Belize. NCL has another private island, Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas. I’ve been to Great Stirrup Cay but this was my first visit to Harvest Cay. I loved it! Even though it was a rainy day we still got to enjoy being there. There is a huge pool with a swim up bar, beach with tons of lounge chairs available for free, children’s water play area, zip lining, animal/nature trail with Tucans, butterfly garden and other animals, restaurants and bars, shopping, and excursions you can book with transfers to the mainland of Belize. You can also book private beach or pool cabanas. We can’t wait to return on a better weather day to enjoy this island even more!

We were in Roatan, Honduras, yesterday. First time for me to visit this port. We did an excursion that included buggys, animal park, and some beach time. We got a little muddy 😂😂 but it was a lot of fun! My husband finally got to hold a sloth and the monkeys were so funny hopping from person to person.

Enjoying the NCL Joy on a Western Caribbean cruise this week! Embarkation process was quick in Miami. Our balcony room is very spacious and one of the nicest bathrooms we’ve had on a ship. This ship has slides, miniature golf, Virtual Reality experiences, and go karts!

Port Orleans French Quarter Resort is one of my favorite resorts! I especially love that it’s smaller and has just one bus stop. Have you stayed at this resort in Walt Disney World?
